Herbie and I went to the Bowerbird a/v night at the Avant Gentlemen’s Lodge in W. Philly last week.  This is Vivian Caccuri’s “Augmented Makeup” where she made music by applying makeup with amplified tools and a modified stethoscope-type thing.

Also featured (and enjoyable) was J. Makary’s “Wanna Kiss Myself” which premiered at Philly Fringe, and showed at Nexus Gallery in October.  The video features upbeat dance sequences in stark backgrounds that are way better than I’m making them sound.  Thanks to Alex Tyson for setting it up.
